V.P. of Construction

As Vice President of Construction, Doug Shapiro manages the day-to-day operation of all construction activities for Hoyt Street Properties, including environmental, site improvements, infrastructure, buildings and tenant improvements.

Shapiro is a registered architect with more than 20 years of project/construction management experience with on and off site consulting and directing project control protocols. This includes project scope development, budgeting and cost control, scheduling, managing resources, facility engineering, system design and quality control. He also will manage maintenance personnel, designers and engineers, vendors, consultants and contractors from various technical disciplines to meet the high standards Hoyt Street Properties demands for its unique urban neighborhood. Professional memberships include: American Institute of Architects; and the Construction Financial Management Association.
